My Name is Noah Mutrie. I'm originally from Baton Rouge Louisiana. I joined the Army in 2005. I met and married the most beautiful woman in the US Army in 2006. I spent 10 years in the army with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. During my time I recieved numerous awards including Iraq/Afghanistan campaign medals, Purple heart and commendation medals.
I am married to the perfect woman for me. I have 3 sons and really feel like I'm living my version of the American dream.
When you purchase something from me you get all of my time and energy. When you commit to me I do the same. My prices are comparable to competitors but my quality is where I separate myself. When you want the "best price", go to a box store. When you want the "best quality", there is only one place to shop... Better Than New Woodworking. At Better Than New Woodworking we try to do our part by giving back to charities that are important to us. We've pledged to donate a portion of each sale to charity. How this works is each quarter we take a % of our sales and send a donation to a particular charity to assist them in helping. This rotates between a few different charities and a list can be provided if you’re interested but we can't do it alone. Simply by shopping here you are donating to help your fellow American. However, if you feel you want to do more you can donate independent of or in addition to your order. We currently have 2 ways you can donate..
1. You can send an amount of money which we will add to our pot for donation. This is a great way to help others who have the will to help with the means to do so. Together we can do this!
The second way we raise money is by selling items to be donated to be raffled off. The charities have auctions where things are sold and the money raised stays at the charity and people have an opportunity to buy some very unique items. We're offering the opportunity for you to buy one of my pieces to be donated to the auction that will go with the pieces I make for them personally. Each person who does this will recieve a private piece that is something special only for donations. It isn't for sale or advertised but it's my way of thanking you for helping us help others. In addition the charity will recieve your information so they know where the donation came from unless you want to remain unknown.
